Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions, scroll through or use the search to find out more. If you have a specific question that isn’t answered below, please get in touch with us, we’d love to help!

  • Our workshop is in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. Please get in touch if you would like to come and visit us, we’d love to hear from you!

  • We usually tend not to supply vehicles, instead customers bring their empty vehicle to our workshop in Norwich, Norfolk, where we carry out the conversion and supply all components and materials. We are happy to offer our advice based on previous experience of converting Nissan NV200s and have links with vehicle import companies if you are looking to source an automatic petrol engine NV200.

  • We provide a tailored quote for each conversion, agreeing on the total before the start of the build, so there are no hidden costs along the way. There is a general price guide for our NV200 conversions on this page. If you have a particular budget you’re working to, we’re happy to advise on areas where cost savings can be made and adjust the conversion specification to suit your needs.

  • Due to the bespoke and handcrafted nature of our work we cannot give exact time frames for our builds. Sometimes unexpected delays can occur and we like to take our time to ensure every little detail is perfect. If you have a date in mind for when you’re looking to have the conversion completed we will do everything we can to meet this, however to avoid disappointment we ask customers to factor some flexibility into their plans for the conversion. As a general guide, our NV200 conversions take around 6 weeks to complete.

  • We can convert any model of the NV200 and fit additional opening side windows to the van model if desired. The Combi version with the tailgate rear door offers plenty of light having windows all the way around and the tailgate is useful for providing overhead shelter outside the back of the van. The van model is also great for conversions as you get to choose where windows are fitted and use wall space for things like shelving/plate racks etc.

  • In the Nissan NV200, the bed is approximately 1050mm wide by 1900mm long, when allowing space for the kitchen and storage compartments.

  • We are happy to discuss part-conversion projects and work on jobs such as fitting windows, electrical systems, heating etc. When carrying out part conversions their may be some additional labour in planning out how our work will integrate with the rest of the conversion.

  • We usually like to have at least one face to face meeting before starting a new project, as this allows us to make sure we understand exactly what you’re looking for and go through some of the finer details. We also like to take this opportunity to show customers some examples of our work and go through samples of the materials and finishes we like to work with. During COVID-19 lockdowns we limit our contact with customers as much as possible and arrange to host meetings virtually, sharing designs via 3D computer models and swapping ideas using sites like Pinterest. We can also arrange to post samples to you to help with decision making.

  • If you like what we do and think that we might be the right company to take on your conversion, the first step is to get in touch with us. We will talk through your conversion requirements and the options available, then send you a detailed conversion specification and quote to consider. From here, we will invite you for a no obligation face to face meeting at our workshop in Norwich, Norfolk, so that you can take a look at some samples and get a feel for our work. If you decide you would like to proceed and book a conversion with us, we request a £500 deposit to secure our next available space. Once we’ve received your deposit, we will confirm an estimated start date for your conversion and put together some 3D computer drawings to represent your chosen colours, materials and fabrics, helping to visualise the final design before we get started on the build.

  • In the past we have enjoyed converting many different makes and models of vans, however, due to the high demand for the Nissan NV200 and to help us refine our designs, we have decided to focus our work on this van for the time being. We carry out other conversion services to other vehicles, such as pop-top and window fitting, electrical systems, heating etc. Please contact us to find out more.
