The start of our Nissan e-NV200 journey…

Back in 2018, Tricia came to us with a vision for a custom eco camper, fully powered by electric and built to her own design specification. She wanted a comfortable living space on wheels that would enable her to take short breaks away and to work from anywhere.

Tricia wanted her conversion to:

  • Include recycled or reclaimed materials where possible

  • Have solar power for charging a laptop & powering appliances such as lighting

  • Have a safe space for her dog Horrace to travel whilst clipped in to his harness

  • Have plenty of useful storage for trips away

  • Have a bright, colourful interior

We worked with Tricia to come up with a layout and design that would incorporate these aspects and together created a truly one of a kind campervan…

“Dee & Simon were approachable at every stage of the design and build. It was always a two way process. Communication was excellent despite the distance between us. Clear, helpful drawings were supplied when changes to the design were required enabling me to make informed decisions.
My tiny van has many curves and awkward features, not easy to convert. The end result is testament to the craftsmanship of Dee & Simon. Not only is my van conversion beautiful and unique it has proved to be a competent, on and off grid, mini camper.”
