They were communicative and helpful throughout the design and build process, and took my idea and ran with it – even coming up with some elements that I would never have thought of on my own, such as the table inlay design (which is now my favourite part of the van!). They were very flexible and worked hard to ensure that everything I was looking for would be incorporated into the design, and extremely clear in explaining to me what would and would not work and why. I cannot say enough good things about the entire process and the van itself – the end result is both beautiful and hugely functional, and I look forward to taking it on many adventures all year round.”

“I feel very fortunate to have found them, and to have them design (3D), and construct wonderful bespoke furniture and coverings for my VW Caddy Maxi. I have never had a camper van, and as a solo female traveller their knowledge and expertise was invaluable. Their patience, enthusiasm, professionalism was beyond my expectations. I was sorry when the process was complete, as the whole journey was exciting, and I learnt so much. They were never weary of my endless questions! The final touches with a handbook relating to the appliances are excellent and easy to follow, and presented with photos. Much easier than having to rummage through a manual when needing a quick reminder as to how something works. I could not be happier with the final result and cannot wait to get on the road, knowing that all is safe and looks so beautiful. “We came across Wild Van a bit by accident when we saw the video of Rus’s van on YouTube. We’d been looking for someone to take on our conversion for a while. After a couple of phone calls to Simon we were confident the Wild Van were the right company for us. Simon and Dee came up with an few different layout designs that suited our brief perfectly, we could never of imagined the clever final design. Once work commenced we received regular email updates and photos showing the build. Simon & Dee were able to accommodate our wish list and were able to advise us of any necessary changes and ideas we would have never of thought of. Wild Vans customer service is second to none. We felt we were truly looked after throughout the whole experience, it is obvious they are passionate about the work they do. They even took care of our vans previously damaged bodywork, solved a quite serious electrical problem and even had the van serviced ready for our collection. Although we had a comprehensive range of photographs of the build nothing could have prepared us for seeing the van for the first time! Catherine was moved to tears and I was speechless! The quality of the work and the care taken is amazing. Wild Van should be very proud of their work, Simon & Dee are lovely people, we could recommend them highly enough!”

“We planned to live and travel in our van full-time when we commissioned Wild Van to do our conversion, so we knew we wanted something that felt like a tiny house rather than a camper.
They were able to create a home on wheels with plenty of rustic charm and bespoke features that have made our van perfectly suited to life on the road with two dogs. The attention to detail and clever design throughout is outstanding!
We can tell that they both really care about what they do and want to create the best possible van; something that is both beautiful and practical. Simon and Dee were always willing to listen to our ideas (even the crazy ones!) and we were able to have a great deal of input into the finishes so that it felt like something unique to us.
We always trusted their advice when making decisions about the conversion as they’re knowledgeable, helpful and have plenty of full-time van dwelling under their belts. They were also incredibly patient and understanding when we changed our minds a couple of times too!
